From classic updos to sleek, elegant buns, this year has been all things bridal. Alex Thaddeus of Alex Thaddeus Hairdressing shares her predictions for the hair trends that will define this winter’s weddings.

For this styled shoot, we leaned away from the predictable russets and browns and instead reimagined the season through a richer, more modern lens, bold silk florals, sculptural textures, deep jewel tones and warm golden accents that feel luxurious rather than leafy.

“This beautiful bridal shoot at Herstmonceux Castle was captured so wonderfully by Zoltan from The Soul of My Lens Photography, whose talent and eye for detail brought the whole vision to life. The castle provided the most breathtaking backdrop, full of romance, history and timeless elegance, and it was such a pleasure to work alongside an amazing team of talented local suppliers.

After discussing the vision, Joe led the creative direction and everything came together effortlessly on the day. We were incredibly lucky with the weather, and the whole experience felt relaxed, collaborative, and genuinely enjoyable. Joe worked with a mix of natural light alongside flash and subtle coloured lighting to shape the mood of the shoot, adding depth and character to the final images. The results reflect that, beautifully captured and full of atmosphere.”
