Gravetye Manor makes a spectacular wedding venue and has been linked with romance since it was built in 1598. Richard Infield built the Manor for his bride, Katherine, and evidence of this still remains, with the initials ‘R’ and ‘K’ carved in stone over the main entrance. From the elegant and atmospheric interiors to the beautiful gardens and breath-taking views, the setting alone provides the perfect backdrop for your special day, whatever the time of year. We are pleased to offer exclusive use of the hotel and gardens for up to seventy guests for your ceremony and wedding breakfast. An additional twenty guests are welcome to attend your evening reception.

Exclusive use also includes the tasting of your menu and wines, and the dedication of our Events Coordinator, who will happily help you with the planning of your bespoke Gravetye wedding.

Our Michelin starred Chef, George Blogg, will be available to assist you in creating a seasonal menu for your wedding breakfast. George will be able to recommend the best local produce as well as using fruit and vegetables from our own kitchen garden.

We are very lucky to have our own team of talented florists who will be able to advise you with a selection of creative options to dress the hotel on your special day. You will be able to meet with them to discuss your theme, colour palette and ideas. They will use their expertise to create you a truly bespoke flower package.

Our beautiful oak-panelled main sitting room is an elegant space for your ceremony, with double aspect views over the flower garden and meadow. Following the ceremony, your drinks reception is the ideal time for photographs with your guests, which may be held in our enchanting, world renowned gardens, or lounge areas during the winter months.

Our glass fronted, contemporary dining room is the perfect setting for your first meal of married life, shared with close family and friends. Seating up to seventy people, with stunning floral arrangements, incredible views of the gardens, classic stationery and bespoke menus - what could be more perfect?
